# Cache clearing from Modular DS and compatible plugins

Modular DS includes a cache clearing feature that allows you to quickly clear the cache of your WordPress sites directly from the platform.

This feature is compatible with the main WordPress caching plugins and is designed to avoid having to manually access each website to perform this task.

### Compatible cache plugins

Currently, cache clearing from Modular DS is compatible with the following WordPress caching plugins and hosting environments:

* LiteSpeed Cache
* WP Rocket
* WP Super Cache
* WP Fastest Cache
* W3 Total Cache
* Breeze
* NitroPack
* FlyingPress
* Raidboxes hosting with Varnish cache

If your site uses one of these plugins, Modular DS will be able to clear the cache automatically.

**How to clear cache from Modular DS**
If you’re using a cache plugin not listed above, you can write to us at help@modulards.com and we’ll review it to check compatibility.

### How to clear the cache from Modular DS

There are two ways to clear a website’s cache from Modular DS:

###### 1. From the site overview

Go to the site overview and click the “Clear cache” button located in the right sidebar.

When you do this, Modular DS will clear the cache using the cache plugin active on that site.

###### 2. When performing actions on plugins, themes, or WordPress versions

When you perform an action such as:

* Updating a plugin, theme, or WordPress version.
* Activating, deactivating, or deleting a plugin or theme.

Modular DS will show you an option to choose whether you want to clear the cache once the action is completed.

If you select this option, the cache will be automatically cleared at the end of the process, helping to avoid display issues or outdated content.
