# How to change or upgrade your plan

If you already have a plan in Modular DS and are considering an upgrade or a change in your billing method, here's how to do it.

To start the process, simply go to the “**Plan & billing**” section within your account. Here you will find all the options available to modify your current subscription.

* **Upgrade to a higher plan:** As long as you do not have the most advanced plan, you will be able to select an upgrade to a higher plan directly from this section. This can give you access to new features or increase your site or backup storage limits.
* **Add extra GB of storage:** If you need more space for your backups, you can easily add extra GB of storage from here with one of our storage packages.
* **Switch to annual billing:** If you are currently paying your subscription on a monthly basis, switching to annual billing can offer significant savings. We offer an annual payment discount of over 15%.
