My Google Analytics or Search Console account has been disconnected
The integration of Google Analytics or Google Search Console in Modular is based on an authorization token that Google issues when you grant the permissions that Modular needs at the time of connection.
So, if you find that your connection has been interrupted, it could be due to the expiration or invalidation of this token.
Here are the most common reasons why this can happen:
Revoked access: Your Google Account may no longer have access to the web property or domain.
Prolonged inactivity: If the token has not been used for 6 months, for example, if you have not logged into Modular in this period, the token will automatically expire.
Permission changes: A Google Search Console or Analytics account administrator may have changed the permissions required for Modular to access data, thus restricting access.
To restore the connection and continue using the associated functionality in Modular, simply reconnect your Google account from the Analytics page itself, Search Console or from the global Google account settings.
